Stirling MSP Bruce Crawford has visited the village hall in Brig O’Turk after it was recently upgraded by the local community.

Mr Crawford held a drop-in surgery in the hall for residents to speak to him about local issues.

Whilst there, he met up with Gene Maxwell and Jim Lindsay. Mr Lindsay upgraded the hall alongside his wife, Marina, who is a designer.

Commenting, Bruce Crawford said:

“Brig O’Turk is a beautiful small community and it was wonderful to see the newly upgraded local hall.

“Hats off to local community members who managed to pull this together – they have done a fantastic job.

“It was great to visit the village and speak to locals about a range of issues, and I am grateful to have been able to do so in such well-designed and fresh surroundings.”
