Stirling MSP Bruce Crawford has met with representatives from Forth Valley College’s Student Association and Stirling Council to discuss transport issues faced by students.
Mr Crawford was joined by Forth Valley College Student Association representatives Alan Buchan, Sabbatical Student President, and Lynne McClelland at Stirling Bus Station on Friday 4 May. They were met with senior Council Officers to discuss a number of proposals to promote active travel and improve public transport connectivity to the College.
Commenting, Bruce Crawford said:
“I was delighted to have met with the Students Association and Stirling Council to talk through a number of proposals that could improve transport for students in the Stirling area and beyond.
“It’s so important that the views of students are heard by those who make the decisions and I was keen to lend my support to the Student Association in their plans to promote active travel and ensure public transport links reflected the needs of all students, including those with disabilities.”
