The full business case for a new Health Centre in Doune has now been approved by the Scottish Government.

The £2.9 million development is due to open in Spring next year.

Welcoming the news, Stirling MSP Bruce Crawford said:

“This £3 million Health Centre has long been campaigned for and local people in Doune will be delighted that the full business case has now been approved by the Scottish Government.

“This is going to be a fantastic modern facility for local communities in the area, giving access to a range of health care services.

“I have been in close contact with NHS Forth Valley throughout this process and I am pleased that this latest news means a new health centre is on track for delivery by Spring 2019.”
