Local MSP Bruce Crawford visited the sculpture, Blawn Wi The Wind, by artist Kevin Paxton, on the BLiSS Trail last week – located on the banks of Loch Earn.

The Loch Earn Tourism Bliss Trail 2017, which runs through Balquhidder, Lochearnhead, Strathyre and St Fillans, won the Geotourist – Innovation in Tourism Award at Last month’s Thistle Awards.

Bruce met with Kim Proven, who runs local hospitality and tourism businesses, and is the Chair of Loch Earn Tourism Information.

Commenting, Bruce Crawford said:

“I was thrilled to visit the remarkable Blawn Wi The Wind sculpture last week – a spectacular part of the award-winning BLiSS Trail.

“The Thistle Award that the Trail won last month was a great and well-earned achievement, and it is clear to see how much work has gone into giving visitors to the area a chance to see this stunning part of the world.”
